KIPOR HOME STANDBY GENERATORS AUTO STARTING SYSTEMS (ATS) This highly effective system has the capability to transfer automatically upon sensing that utility power has been interrupted, transferring responsibility to the generator. How it works Under normal circumstances when mains power is available, National Grid power Supply runs through the Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) panel and connects to your Distribution board. Your existing electrical system is not compromised in any way by integrating a KIPOR ATS in the circuit. A battery charger installed in the ATS panel powered by the mains supply keeps the starting battery in the KIPOR generator fully charged. When mains power fails the ATS will pause for a set period (determined at set up by the engineer) to ensure you haven’t had a power spike. ATS will then initiate Generator start sequence and connect the KIPOR standby generator power supply to your home or business premises. How do I get one? These auto starting systems are available for fitting by a suitably qualified electrician (Which usually takes less than a few hours) – please contact us via the contact page for competitive prices and technical assistance. Peak Generators also offer a mainland UK based installation service – one of our fully qualified electrical engineers will fit the system to your existing mains supply at highly competitive prices – please call for details. |
