Warranty Terms and conditions...

Peak Generators Ltd 18 month limited warranty

During the warranty period Peak Generators warrants that the generator shall be free from material defects under normal use and maintenance. If the generator is returned to Peak Generators during the warranty period and upon inspection Peak Generators determines that part/s are defective, Peak Generators will repair or replace the part/s at no cost to the customer.

Where Peak Generators assess that necessary repairs are covered under the warranty, Peak Generators, will take reasonable endeavours to effect repairs subject to parts availability.

This warranty does not cover parts/products affected by damage caused by neglect, poor maintenance or repair, abnormal use, abuse or problems result from improper use, depreciation, use of unsuitable attachments, ordinary wear and tear, rust, corrosion, inadequate transportation, accident or servicing by unauthorised personnel.

Parts such as filters, belts, gaskets, fuses, brushes, fuel injection nozzles, lubricant, protective coatings, thermostats, spark plugs, casings and other consumable parts are not covered by this warranty. All expenses incurred in replacing these consumable parts will be charged to the customer.

The warranty will be invalidated if the customer fails to follow the maintenance schedule outlined in the owner’s manual and/or advice given by Peak Generators and/or fails to observe and follow the operation instructions and guidance in the owner’s manual/operator’s manual.

If for any reason the customer does not have an owner’s manual/operator’s manual, they must request one from Peak Generators or the generator manufacturer before using the generator. Once received the customer must then follow strictly the guidance and advice of the owner’s manual/operator’s manual before any attempt to operate the generator.

The warranty will be invalidated if the customer fails to service the generator in line with the owner’s manual/operator’s manual and fails to provide a certified/legitimate-servicing log confirming that the generator has been serviced on regular intervals in line with the owner’s manual/operator’s manual. Suitably qualified personnel should only carry out repairs. If non-qualified personnel carry out repairs or undertake servicing the warranty will become void.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the safe return of their product to Peak Generators (back to base) and at the customer's expense. Peak Generators recommends that all goods be insured in transit.

Should Peak Generators determine that necessary repairs are covered under the warranty, Peak Generators will return the product to the customer at Peak Generators expense.

Should Peak Generators determine a product is not liable for repair under the warranty, Peak Generators will submit a quotation for repair to the customer before commencing repair and will only commence repair upon written authorisation from the customer.

Upon the customer reporting a fault covered under the warranty, should Peak Generators determine the nature of the part required to remedy the fault, Peak Generators, in agreement with the customer, may if the customer desires, supply replacement parts for the customer or customer’s agent to affect repair. In these circumstances Peak Generators will supply replacement parts to the customer or customer’s agent. However it will be the customer's responsibility and own risk to ensure that replacement parts are fitted correctly and the costs of fitting such parts will be entirely at the customer's expense.

Peak Generators reserve the right to ask for suspected defective parts to be returned for inspection prior to replacement parts being despatched.

By taking delivery of the product the purchaser confirms they do so with full knowledge and understanding of the dangers and risks of operating a generator, and fully indemnifies Peak Generators against any claims resulting from accidents, injuries, losses, or death relating to the purchase and use of this generator.

The purchaser undertakes to have read and understood the safety rules and advice offered in the owner’s manual/operator’s manual provided before use and hereby takes full responsibility for the utilisation of the product, entirely at their own risk.

The purchaser undertakes to ensure that adequate personal safety equipment is worn.

If the purchaser is unwilling to accept the above conditions the product must be returned, unused, at the purchaser's own expense, to Peak Generators within 14 Days of receipt.

Peak Generators reserve the right to apply an administrative charge and restocking fee of twenty percent on all refunds. Delivery charges are none refundable.

Peak Generators reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect consumer's statutory rights
